Biography

Dr. Ishtiaque Hussain received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington and his B.S. from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before joining Penn State Abington as an Assistant Professor, Dr. Hussain worked as a software engineer at Infor, did internships at Microsoft and Accenture Technology labs, taught different undergraduate and graduate courses as an adjunct faculty at the Universities of Texas at Dallas and Arlington. He was a lecturer at a private university in Bangladesh before moving to the US in 2008.

Dr. Hussain’s main research interests are in software engineering, specifically automated software testing. He loves to share his expertise and regularly writes blog posts on different software engineering topics in Bangla – his native language.
