Tickets

How many tickets will I receive?
Each graduate will receive 2 guest tickets. Guests without a ticket will not be permitted. The strict 2 ticket policy will help ensure the health, safety, and comfort of grads, guests, and the entire Penn State Abington community.

Can I request more than 2 tickets?
No, there is a universal 2 ticket policy for all graduates. Requests for additional tickets will not be considered.

Where can I pick up my tickets?
Ticket pick-up will take place at the Graduation Fair on December 1 & 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Lubert Commons in the Lares Building.

Do children need tickets to attend?
Yes, children over age 2 require a ticket.

Ceremony

Where will the ceremony take place?
The ceremony will take place in the Athletic Building. See campus map

When will the ceremony take place and when should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. on December 17. Graduating students should arrive no later than 9:00 a.m. Guest seating will begin at 9:00 a.m. and guests should be seated by 9:45 a.m.

Approximately how long will the ceremony run?
The ceremony will be about one hour and 15 minutes.

Where do students line up before the ceremony?
Enter through the main entrance of Athletic Building (doors near tennis courts) and go upstairs to the mezzanine. Graduates will be directed by staff members for lineup on the mezzanine.

Do I need to wear a mask?
Everyone must wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. 

Do graduates need to wear a cap & gown?
Yes, graduates can order their cap & gown here. For cap & gown questions please contact Solomon Daniel in the bookstore, [email protected], 215-881-7415.

Will the ceremony be livestreamed?
Yes, you can find the livestream by clicking here on the morning of the ceremony. The stream will begin at 10:00 a.m.

May I bring signs or balloons to the ceremony?
No, signs and balloons block the view of other guests. We ask that you leave these items in your vehicle.

May I bring a stroller to the ceremony?
Strollers must be left in designated area near the W ill-call table at the entrance to the building. They will not be allowed on the ceremony floor.

Parking

Where should I park for the ceremony?
Parking will be available in Lots J, H, and G. See map

Accessibility

Where do I find designated parking for persons with disabilities?
Accessible parking will be available in Lot J, next to the Athletic Building. See map

Where do I find designated seating for persons with disabilities? 
Space is reserved on the ceremony floor to accommodate wheelchairs and walking aids. Staff will be available to assist you in finding these areas.

Will there be a sign language interpreter?
Yes, the interpreter will be situated in front of the stage.
