- Start Date: First day of the academic semester (e.g., August 25 for Fall or January 16 for Spring)
- End Date: week six of the academic semester (e.g., October 1 for Fall or February 27 for Spring)
- Start Date: Immediately following the application deadline
- Duration: Two weeks
- During this time, applications will be reviewed by the Office of Student Affairs and the Student Government Association to ensure compliance with policies and requirements
- Date: Two weeks after the application period closes (e.g., October 15 for Fall or March 13 for Spring)
- Organizations will receive written confirmation of their status (approved, conditionally approved, or denied).
- Schedule an orientation meeting with SEAL within one week of approval.
- an organization will be considered active once three general meetings have been scheduled and have had confirmed attendance of 10 or more interested students.

Start a New Club
- Fill out the intent to organize form on Discover
- Meet with a SEAL Coordinator (you will be contacted to schedule this meeting)
- Gather required documents
- Constitution
- Mission statement
- Names and emails of at least 10 members (including President, Treasurer, Vice President, and Secretary)
- University Advisor
- Have the Student Government Association (SGA) approve your constitution
- Present your documents to a SEAL coordinator
Serve on an Executive Board
- Any full-time Penn State Abington student with a GPA of 2.5 or higher can be elected to the executive board of a student club or organization.
