Penn State Abington's Division of Science and Engineering offers a tremendous opportunity for students who want to study in a small-class environment. Students receive personalized attention from our accomplished faculty, and our students have access to out-of-class opportunities that only a state-of-the-art research institution can offer.
We are committed to preparing students for success upon graduation. Our students work with our accomplished faculty and the career development office on special opportunities, such as undergraduate research, internships/co-ops, robotics, ASME, and others.
Students can complete a 4-year degree at Penn State Abington in one of two majors: Information Sciences and Technology (IST), and Science. Penn State Abington's graduate partnerships with Thomas Jefferson University and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine also offer opportunities for students to earn a master's degree in occupational therapy, biotechnology, and clinical health psychology, or a doctoral degree in physical therapy.
Penn State Abington also offers a complete range of introductory courses for undergraduate majors and programs in Penn State's Division of Science and Engineering. Students have the opportunity to take foundation courses here, and can then transition to another Penn State campus, such as University Park, to complete the degree.
