Admission to Penn State Abington is possible for transfer students after they have attempted 18 semester hours of credit at another accredited college or university. Most programs require a minimum of 2.0 GPA for consideration. It is important to note that the Abington Business degree requires a minimum of 2.5 GPA.
Students seeking transfer admission into Abington's Information, Science, & Technologies degree must have the minimum 18 semester hour credits but cannot exceed 45 credit hours at another institution, and must have a minimum 2.5 GPA for consideration.

For applicants who have completed the equivalent of two years of college work and have strong academic records. Certain majors may not be available to transfer students. University Park Admission Requirements
Apply on-line. Penn State needs to receive your final high school transcript and the official transcript(s) from the accredited college or university that you will be transferring from, to process your application.
If you prefer to submit a paper application, please complete the following form. Evaluation of Transfer Credits
All course work completed with a minimum grade of "C" or better at any accredited college or university will be reviewed by the Undergraduate Admissions Office. Courses that will be accepted and transferred should be useful in the student's program of study at Penn State. Transfer Agreements with other schools
A Transfer Agreement is a signed document
between two colleges or universities that gives students the
opportunity to transfer seamlessly from one school to another.
The agreement states specific criteria that a student must
complete in order to transfer. Note: Course Equivalency is subject to change. Please check with an adviser prior to scheduling.
