The Eric Mintel Quartet Performs at Penn State Abington
One of the country's leading jazz groups, The Eric Mintel Quartet, will fill the air at Penn State Abington with the sounds of hot jazz, on Thursday, May 25 at 7 p.m. The free concert will take place at the campus's outdoor amphitheater. Rain date for the event is Friday, May 26.
The program, a part of Penn State Abington's Cultural Arts series, is partially funded by a PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) grant sponsored by State Representative Josh Shapiro. The evening will be fun for the entire family with music, ice cream sundaes, and giveaways. Seating is limited, so attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Eric Mintel performed at the White House for President Clinton and appeared on Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz, which aired on National Public Radio. With over ten concerts at The Kennedy Center and performances from Colorado to Connecticut, Eric continues to connect with audiences throughout the country.
