Penn State Constitution Day
Monday, September 19, 2005

The U. S. Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787 to establish new rights and responsibilities for "We the People of the United States." In 2004, Congress designated one day each year as Constitution Day, an opportunity for all Americans to learn more about this important "living" document.

In honor of this day, Penn State University has assembled a panel of experts who will examine contemporary constitutional issues. The panel presentation will be video streamed and available to all campuses at 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 19, 2005.
