Non-Discrimination Policy

The Pennsylvania State University subscribes to a policy of non-discrimination in all its educational activities and programs as defined by law. The University administers all policies without regard to race, religion, color and national origin; and without regard to handicap, age, sex, or status, except as provided by law. These policies apply to application and selection for admission as well as application for employment and all other policies and actions with the University. The University policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of sex also pertains to sexual harassment.

The Pennsylvania State University is committed to the policy that all persons shall have equal access to programs, facilities, admission, and employment without regard to personal characteristics not related to ability, performance, or qualifications as determined by University policy or by state or federal authorities. The Pennsylvania State University does not discriminate against any persons because of age as defined by law, ancestry, color, disability or handicap, national origin, race, religions creed, sex, sexual orientation, or veteran status. Discrimination or harassment against faculty, staff, or students will not be tolerated at The Pennsylvania State University.
