COURSE PREREQUISITES
With the telephone and web registration system, many students are registering for courses in which they lack the appropriate prerequisites. Faculty are encouraged to announce prerequisite information, if any, in their classes and/or to place such information on the course syllabus. Although such academic matters are finally the students' responsibility, this notification will enable the faculty to work only with those students who are well prepared and the campus to retain students more effectively.
