EXCUSED ABSENCE FOR ATHLETIC COMPETITION
Policy #67-00 applies to varsity athletes, and states that "a student athlete who represents the University in an athletic contest shall be excused from classes and provided with an official excuse form." This form (available in the Physical Education Building ) should be presented to the faculty member at least one week prior to the competition, and the student is responsible for all material and assignments for the missed class. There will be a separate card for every contest. Practices are not excusable absences.
