Penn State AbingtonThe Penn State Abington Penn State Abington program offers tuition-free enrollment in undergraduate credit courses to people who are-

  • at least 60 years old
  • retired or working less than half-time
  • Pennsylvania residents

Participants of GO-60 are permitted to enroll in undergraduate credit course(s)-

  • on a "space available basis" only
  • numbered 001 through 399
  • that are offered in the afternoon and the evening (morning classes are NOT available)

Go-60 is limited to 6 credits per semester. Additional credits may be taken for current tuition rate. Students must meet any course prerequisites and follow established rules, regulations and procedures applicable to all students.

Sutherland Building is Building #1 on the campus map.
Parking for the Sutherland building is available in lots F and G.
Handicapped parking is available in lot D.


  • Review open course list and choose course
  • Fill out the pink registration form completely
  • Have staff person sign form
  • Obtain a parking permit from 107 Rydal Building

Other information-

  • All GO-60 students are required to pay the non-refundable technology fee and facilities fee.
  • Courses can be taken for credit or audit.
  • For credit means for a grade; audit means no grade
  • Student must purchase required books
  • 400 level courses or higher ARE NOT tuition free (must pay current tuition rate)
