Penn State Abington Office of International Affairs provides information about: faculty- led embedded programs of study, a unique one-for-one exchange program in Germany and assistance in applying to semester & year- long programs of study through University Park.
In the fall, spring and summer semesters, many Penn State Abington faculty members create courses that contain an “embedded study abroad” component that includes a week or more of international travel to complete the course.
For example, classes begin and end on Abington’s campus, however, the entire class and the professor will spend spring break traveling in another country to deepen the knowledge gained in the classroom experience.
These programs are advertised through OIA, the Division in which they are offered and directly by the faculty member.
