Germany, International Business
A collaborative course with the school of International Management at Fachhochschule Hof, Germany, we will focus on intercultural competence in a business environment, comparative international ethics, and corporate governance.
Students will benefit from exposure to another culture and its corporate practices, an increasingly valuable opportunity for developing individual competitiveness in the global economy.
The course features cooperative learning between teams of German and American students. This will provide students with highly useful preparation for functioning effectively in a multinational business setting, as well as enhanced understanding of cultural differences and their influence on national competitiveness.

England, Neolithic Circles
During the latter part of the Neolithic Period people in Southwest England began building enormous monuments which included a deep ditch and a high bank of huge stones, some of them weighing over 100 tons. Some of the stones had to be transported over 200 miles. How did they construct these monuments? Why did they build them? What were they used for?
Students will have seminars with 2 British archaeologists over the course of the program and visit numerous sites of study. They will have special access inside the stones at Stonehenge.
