International TravelWhat majors are they?

BNU students are Criminal Justice and Sports Management students. All of the students from UoG are business students. To complement the academic portion of their program, they will be involved in numerous cultural activities.

The Buddies play a critical role in the cultural immersion aspect of the Penn State Abington program.

Penn State Buddy Expectations

  • Communicate with your International Buddy before their arrival through Facebook and during their stay at Penn State Abington. You will be matched with a British student by the Program Student Coordinators. You are expected to contact your British Buddy through the PSU/Facebook page several times before they arrive. This is time for self-introductions and getting to know each other.
  • When the International students arrive at Penn State Abington, there will be Welcome Pizza Party and Closing Receptions on campus. These events are by invitation only and Buddies are encouraged to attend both of these events.

Other fun interactive program activities that all PSU Buddies are welcome to join:

  • All day trip to NYC
  • Free day in Philly

The International Students will have many questions to ask you about the campus, surrounding areas, and American life. Please be open to their curiosity about life in the United States. This is also an opportunity to learn about the customs and culture of the UK and develop international friendships.
