Changing your location from Abington to another Penn State Campus

Old Main In most cases, if you are pursuing a baccalaureate degree, you are expected to complete two full years of academic work at your location of admission.

If you desire to relocate to University Park or another campus location, you will receive notification of your entrance to the campus when you have completed two years at Abington, earned sufficient credits, and entered a major at your preferred campus location.

Requests for early relocation to another Penn State campus (i.e., those made during your first two years of academic work) are generally approved only when it is necessary for you to maintain normal degree progress towards your preferred major.

Note: If a program of study requires a transfer to another campus before completing two years at Abington, you must file a CHANGE OF CAMPUS (ASSIGNMENT) Form with the Registrar. See your adviser for more information.
