Short description of any research interests :
The fiction and non-fiction of Colm Tóibín, including The Blackwater Lightship and The Master, have been the basis for presentations at the National Conference of The American Conference for Irish Studies.  The cultural, theological, and aesthetic concerns of this writer have been the focus of my work in recent years.

Interest:
Cultural studies and gender studies have been the primary focus of my research and teaching. While most of my presentations at national conferences involve research in drama, I have also presented (and published) studies of American and Irish fiction.
