Fall Fun with Briar Bush Nature Center
Kristen Facente, Director of Public Programs, Briar Bush Nature Center

Cultural ArtsPenn State Abington and Briar Bush Nature Center team up to bring you an exciting and educational afternoon! You’ll experience the Lenape way of life through a show and-tell of clothing, shelter, tools, food and even games. Meet some native animals that call Briar Bush their home and learn how they adapt to survive the seasons in Pennsylvania.

Learn how to tell a tree's age and make your own leaf-rubbing tree ID book. And finally, help out our feathered friends with a craft that will supply them with nesting materials for a cozy winter home. This family-oriented program is for children grades 2-6. Free admission. Space is limited. Register 215-881-7376.

2:00pm – 4:00pm, 112 Woodland Building
