The OCA is also a prerequisite to becoming an OCP.

The course offers learners the essential SQL skills of querying the database and the meta data, and creating database objects. In addition, it delves into advanced querying and reporting techniques, data warehousing concepts, and manipulation of large data sets in different time zones.

Learn how to configure an Oracle database for multilingual applications. Students will practice various methods of recovering the database using RMAN, SQL, and Flashback technology. Tools to monitor database performance and what steps to take to improve database performance are also covered. Students can also learn to use various database technologies, such as Resource Manager, the Scheduler, and Automatic Storage Management (ASM). Topics are reinforced with structured hands-on practices and a workshop. This course is designed to help prepare participants for the corresponding Oracle Certified Professional exam.
