The Reasons for the Seasons

Research shows that understanding and explaining the causes of seasons can be challenging. This program will present teachers with a set of inquiry-based classroom activities that dispel popular misconceptions about the seasons and present the true astronomical reason for the seasons on Earth. The engaging activities presented in this program will prepare teachers for helping their students to arrive at a clear understanding of seasons as they investigate the connections between the Sun and Earth.
