Program Description:
This seminar reviews the financial and tax planning issues confronted in special circumstances: such as planning for couples contemplating divorce, the dependency exemption, non-traditional families and couples, parents of children with special needs, and unique estate planning issues that pertain to these special circumstances (e.g., special needs trust).
As the definition of "family" expands, CPAs and other financial advisers need to understand the income and estate tax planning opportunities available in assisting families in planning for their unique situation.
This seminar will enable participants to assist clients in maximizing their deductions and credits and educate practitioners working with complex family scenarios that are encountered in today’s practice.
