• Strengthen vocabulary and grammar skills
• Focus on the ability to develop and support a position in writing the required essay.
• Explore test-taking strategies
• Review practice tests in class
Students should bring a notebook to class the first day. All other textbooks and materials will be provided.

• Review basic concepts in number theory, algebra and geometry
• Understand basic test taking strategies: how to pace yourself, when to guess, how to approach multiple-choice questions and answer open-ended questions
• In class review of practice tests
Students should bring a notebook to class the first day. All other textbooks and materials will be provided.

How to Register
Phone: Call the Professional Development Office at 215-881-7400 with your registration and a MasterCard or VISA payment.
Fax the registration form with MasterCard or VISA payment to 215-881-7412.
Mail: Return registration form with payment (check made payable to Penn State, MasterCard or VISA) to Penn State Abington, Cloverly Building, 1600 Woodland Road, Abington, PA 19001-3990.
In person: Register in the Cloverly Building, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm and in Room 121 Sutherland, Monday through Thursday, 5pm - 9pm.
Registration confirmations will be e-mailed.
On the confirmation please note your Penn State identification number. This number will be necessary for all future registrations, correspondence or inquiries.
Withdrawing from a Course
If you must withdraw from a course, please notify the Professional Development Office in writing at least 48 hours in advance of the start of the course. Your course fee will be refunded minus a $25 processing fee for each course cancellation. After the start of a course, no refund is issued.
Course Cancellations
Courses may be canceled or postponed by the University due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a course is canceled, registrants are contacted, and a full refund issued.
