The two courses below are approved by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission toward educational requirements for the salespersons' examination. Every 15 hours of instruction is equivalent to one Real Estate Commission credit.

Real Estate Practice
REST 5017A (3.0 CEUs)
Introduces all facets of real estate, including surveying specialized areas with emphasis on the agent's role in residential brokerage. Examination of real estate transactions provides knowledge of forms, documents, and related math.

Real Estate Fundamentals
R EST 5016A (3.0 CEUs)
A foundation for the study of real estate in Pennsylvania, covering language, principles, and governing laws.


Continuing Education for Realtors:

Ethics in Real Estate
R EST 5727-001 (3.5 hours)
Provides a framework for guidance in ethical decision-making or courses of action. Ethics are guided by individual personal values as well as codes for an association or company.

Landlords: Know Your Rights and Duties
R EST 5067-001 (3.5 hours)
Covers all the legal information that landlords absolutely need to know. Course goal is to provide basic, practical information about landlords' rights and duties in their relationships with tenants. Although this seminar focuses on legal concepts, the material is presented in plain, nonlegalistic language.

Property Management
R EST 5206-001 (3.5 hours)
Identifies and shows the basic principles of property management. The program is an overview of the rental procedure: how to locate a renter, how to construct a lease, and all the legal requirements that must be considered while renting. Leave with a better understanding of residential leases, the legal aspects and how to manage rental units.
