Are you a fan of the American Girl series? Can’t get enough of the stories, dolls and fashions? All About American Girls camp is the place you want to be this summer! We will feature many American Girl characters, and will engage in lots of interesting activities, crafts and games associated with each girl. Join us as we make dream catchers inspired by Kaya, design a fashion show inspired by the unique styles of the American Girl Doll fashion line, and so much more. We will even create our own American Girl story. Bring your books, dolls and imagination and join us for this exciting fun filled camp!

In this program you can script your own short stories, poems, narratives, and biographies to form your very own writing portfolio. Join us for a week of creative writing and hands-on activities, all culminating with an end of the week “open mic” performance where you will share your work to an applauding audience!

Do you love stories of boys and girls who discover that they have strange and wonderful powers? Do you love books like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Twilight, and Lord of the Rings? Do you dream up strange, exotic, and exciting lands? Learn to make your fantasies take flight as you hone your writing skills with this fantasy writing workshop!
Over the course of the week we will be discovering new and exciting ways to bring your dreams to life. We will be focusing on crafting a storyline, developing characters (and creatures!), honing descriptive writing skills, and creating maps amongst many other exciting fantasy activities throughout the week. To top everything off, we will end our week with the creation of your very own fantasy story!

Let’s explore the stories, art, and games of the ancient and medieval civilizations and learn the origins of creatures such as the vampire, phoenix, mermaid, werewolf, and others.

Public Speaking Workshop

Have you ever wondered what it takes to become a great speaker, or do you simply wish that you wouldn't get nervous every time you had to do a presentation? Wonder and worry no more! This camp will give you the opportunity to develop basic public speaking skills. Over the course of the week, we will examine qualities of great public speakers and focus on writing and presenting great speeches for a variety of situations so that you can speak up and speak out with confidence.
