Welcome to the fourteenth century!  Are you a noblewoman or a knight in shining armor?  How will you create your "shield of heraldry"?  What will your royal coat of arms represent?  Will you aspire to complete the six stages of knighthood?  As we perform “Robin Hood in Sherwood Forest” will you steal from the rich and give to the poor?  Join us for a week filled with discovery, mischief and mayhem!

Ever dream of walking down the "red carpet" followed by the paparazzi?  Learn the basic and advanced levels of acting, directing and operating the camera for film, television, commercials, news anchoring, and music video. Each day is designed so students work as cast and crew teams.  Camera operations, shot set-up and scriptwriting, storyboarding, and improvisation will be introduced.  Each day is different as students work to create their very own original projects as they learn the basics of the biz.  Upon completion of this camp, a professionally edited DVD will be available for purchase for $46.99 through Wickline Casting.  Instruction by Wickline Casting.

Attention all creative, energetic kids:  Join us for a fun-filled week of dance, dance, dance!  Students will learn to count music, proper dance terms, basic dance techniques and basic dance combinations.  The week will culminate with students performing their dance routines to show off their new moves.


You Can Be A Superstar! Social Skills Camp for Teens (YTHPR 5094)
Entering Grades 7-10

Join us for a fun-filled week exploring the use of improvisational theater and acting games to help build your adolescent’s confidence and self-esteem.  Drama is a wonderful tool for teaching social skills, body language and the mechanics of social interactions.  Through games, skits, movies and other fun activities, children will learn and practice skills to help them navigate the complex social world of adolescence. If your child seems to struggle with social skills and peer relationships, then this program is for you. This program is designed to assist teens with Asperger Syndrome, ADHD, and non-verbal learning disabilities develop a better social understanding through the use of theater. The program is being taught by two certified special education teachers.


Film Appreciation (YTHPR 5080)

If you love watching movies, talking about them, comparing them, or even making your own films, you’ll love this program.  Realize how the director tells a visual story with the camera and editing techniques.  Analyze what makes a “good” film.  Who decides which movies are made and how movies are publicized? Learn how to look for deeper meaning in movies by screening and discussing classic as well as current films.  Become familiar with the terms and observational skills that will help you to talk and write about movies more articulately.
