Come and explore some of the world's greatest ancient civilizations. Journey through Grecian, Roman, Egyptian and other cultures as we explore music, art, archeology, folklore, and history. You can participate in hands-on and team activities such as looking for long lost artifacts and learning to decipher "Roman" codes. Join us for a fun-filled week of ancient exploration.

Experiment with the many ways of making art and bring your imaginations to life. This multi-sensory experience will allow you to explore a variety of art media and materials and develop your individual interest in two-dimensional and three-dimensional art forms. Model magic clays are used to introduce a variety of concepts and skills to encourage sensory awareness and build proficiency for all young artists. Projects also include drawing and painting. Explore book assemblage art, which involves using 2-D and 3-D art on the pages of a book. Use techniques such as assemblage, painting, drawing, printmaking, origami and more, all while utilizing a variety of materials like fabric, wallpaper, yarn, paint, feathers and found objects! If you love watching movies, talking about them, comparing them, or even making your own films, you’ll love this program. Realize how the director tells a visual story with the camera and employs various editing techniques. Analyze what makes a “good” film, and who decides which movies are made and how movies are publicized. Learn how to look for deeper meaning in movies by screening and discussing classic and current films. Are you ready to sing? You are invited to join us for a study of musical theater arts at a performance camp that includes lessons in voice, acting, movement, and musicianship. Through improvisational games, exercises in stage movement, and scene work, students can learn all about what makes a spectacular stage performance. Students can also learn how to prepare for an audition, including how to build an effective résumé. Please note that an informal meet and greet will be scheduled two weeks prior to the start of the camp during which students will “audition” for parts in the musical that will be performed at the end of the camp week. This one-of-a-kind camp developed by a 2012 Grammy winning producer is designed to offer students a different and exciting experience each day by introducing them to the amazing world of the recording industry. Students can have a blast developing their skills in songwriting, music recording, voice-over development and audio equipment operation. Students can create their very own songs and voice scripts and work interchangeably in the roles of talent and/or crew on fun projects like creating voice commercials, TV/radio announcements and even recording their very own hit song! It isn’t often that a child can say they had a hand in fully producing a song from start to finish--and have a copy of that song to share with friends and family for years to come. Join us for a fun-filled week exploring the use of improvisational theater and acting games to help build your confidence and self-esteem. Drama is a wonderful tool for teaching social skills, body language and the mechanics of social interactions. Through games, skits, movies and other fun activities, we will learn and practice skills that can help you navigate the complex social world of adolescence. If you seem to struggle with social skills and peer relationships, then this program is for you. This course is designed to assist students with a variety of special needs, including Asperger Syndrome, ADD, ADHD, and other non-verbal learning disabilities.
