Come and explore some of the world's greatest ancient civilizations. Journey through Grecian, Roman, Egyptian and other cultures as we explore music, art, archeology, folklore, and history. Students will participate in hands-on and team activities such as looking for long lost artifacts and learning to decipher "Roman" codes. Join us for a fun-filled week of ancient exploration.

Calling all kids who have curious minds and busy fingers! Join us for some hands-on, interactive, indoor and outdoor fun as we solve puzzles, explore technology, play unique games and tackle a sticky glue challenge! All activities are designed to encourage intellectual engagement and help bridge kids academically over the summer while having FUN. Reading, writing and critical thinking activities will be explored and encouraged as campers interact with giant floor maps to learn and review geography, work with computers, cameras and microscopes, create personal writing journals, try a rock drill, and create a variety of memorable crafts and projects. This hands-on, unique program is for kids who like to do!

Philadelphia Casting Director, Kathy Wickline, offers a new and exciting opportunity for students who are interested in runway or commercial print modeling. Spend a week this summer learning what it takes to get started in the industry, or refine the modeling skills you already have. Get your hair and make up done by a top artist who works in the industry. Have your picture taken by a professional photographer. Learn how to “walk the runway.” Develop your personality for the camera lens as well as poise, and ‘model’ etiquette. Hear the secrets of former and current models, how they reached the pinnacle of their trade, and what the clients of today are looking for in a new model. Study fashion styling, voice expression, and acting exercises. Includes a list of legitimate local modeling agencies and two 8X10 professional photographs. Instruction by Wickline Casting.

Have you ever gotten caught up in the rhythms and beats of performers like Stomp? Drum groups have been the inspiration and focus in films and on Broadway. This program is for every music lover who just can’t stop tapping along to music. No musical experience required. All novice and skilled drummers and musicians of all instruments are encouraged to join the fun. Students will learn basic drumming technique, perform rhythms individually and as part of a powerful drum ensemble. Since students will become a part of a community of musicians, they will also learn how to communicate, cooperate and perform as a team. They’ll also customize their very own bucket to match their personality and style.

The portfolio prep class is designed for High School students looking to prepare their portfolios for college admissions. This course is designed to emphasize and strengthen observational skills in drawing, collage, painting and sculpture. Students will work in the campus art studios. Although the course emphasizes life observation, in-depth personal explorations will also be addressed.
