WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL HAVE TWO ON THE PSUAC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM
Abington, PA – The Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference {PSUAC) announced that junior setter Megan Sawicki (St. Hubert’s / Philadelphia, PA) and sophomore outside hitter Jessica Kane (John W. Hallahan / Philadelphia, PA) of the Penn State Abington women’s volleyball team were selected to the PSUAC All- Conference Team.
Sophomore outside hitter Jessica Kane (John W. Hallahan / Philadelphia, PA) was selected to the All-Conference team for the first time in her career. Kane was a force on the court where she played and started in 28 matches. Kane paced the Lady Lions’ attack for the second year in a row, tallying 262 kills, an average of 2.91 K/set, to go along with 63 service aces (.873 pct and .70 SA/set).
Junior setter Megan Sawicki (St. Hubert’s / Philadelphia, PA) was announced as an honorable mention All-Conference. Sawicki a leader of the team played & started in 29 matches. She had dished out a total of 496 assists on the season, an average of 5.51 per set. Sawicki also accumulated 190 digs (2.11 D/set) .
