Golf takes top spot at Penn State Berks
Oct. 5 , 2009 – Reading, PA – Penn State Abington took part in the Penn State Berks Invitational.
Freshman Tim Anderson (Horsham, PA / Hatboro-Horsham) led the Nittany Lions with a 83 while senior Glen Seeberger (Hatboro, PA / Upper Moreland) closed one stroke behind Anderson with an 84. Sophomore John Schiavone (Perkasie, PA / Pennridge High School) had an impressive match as he finished 15 over par with an 87.
Abington finished 1st with a 345 while Penn State Berks had a 358 and Baptist Bible closed with a 395.
The golf team is back in action on Sunday, October 25, 2009 as the participate in the Rutgers-Camden Fall Invitational. Tee time is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
