Golf takes 2nd at the Penn State Lehigh Valley Invitational
Sept. 2, 2009 – Lehigh Valley, PA – Penn State Abington freshman Tim Anderson (Horsham, PA / Hatboro-Horsham) finished fourth while freshman Jason Kurth (Philadelphia, PA / Cardinal Dougherty) tied for fifth as they lead Abington to a 2nd place finish at the Penn State Lehigh Valley Invitational at the Center Valley Golf Club.
Anderson finished with an 80, eight over par, three strokes behind the leader while Kurth had an 81 on the day.
Penn State Abington closed 2nd with 336, 10 strokes behind the winner, Penn State Wilkes Barre.
Abington returns to the links on Tuesday, September 8th when they travel to the Mountain Valley Golf Course in Barnesville, PA for the Penn State Schuylkill Invitational. Tee time is 11:00 a.m.
