Women's soccer struggle against SUNY Cobleskill
Oct. 25, 2009 - Abington, PA - The women's soccer team hosted SUNY Cobleskill in a NEAC conference game today at Huntingdon Road Fields. They lost 1-7 and fall to 0-13-1 over all and 0-6 in the NEAC while SUNY Cobleskill improves to 8-8 overall and 6-3 in the NEAC.
The Nittany Lions had 5 shots and 2 were shots on goal while SUNY Cobleskill had 39 shots and 23 were shots on goal. Freshman Kaitlin Kozole (Philadelphia, PA / St. Hubert's) scored the only goal for the Nittany Lions in the 63rd minute. SUNY Cobleskill received six goals from Kristen Raina and one goal from Mandy Swartz.
The women's soccer team is back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Morristown, NJ to take on conference foe College of St. Elizabeth. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
