Women’s cross country finish 20th at Philly Metro Invitational
Sept. 26, 2009 – Philadelphia, PA – The Penn State Abington women’s cross country team ran in the Philly Metro Cross Country Invitational Meet where they finished 20th out of 20 teams. The meet was a 5K race through the Belmont Plateau in Fairmont Park.
Junior Diana Rado (Philadelphia, PA / Northeast) led the Nittany Lions, finishing 72nd out of 177 runners. Rado finished in a time of 23:26.76.
Finishing behind Rado was sophomore Kathelene Kim (Pennsauken, NJ / Pennsauken) who recorded a time of 26:41.69 coming in 140th place.
The cross country team will be back in action on Saturday, October 3rd as they participate in the Albright Homecoming Meet in Reading, PA at 11:15 a.m.
