Women’s Cross Country finish 4th at Hobart Invitational
Sept. 21, 2009 – Geneva, NY - The Penn State Abington women’s cross country team earned a 4th place finish out of eight teams at the 2009 Hobart Invitational. Junior Diana Rado (Philadelphia, PA / Northeast) led the Nittany Lions, finishing fifth out of the 46 runner field.
Rado finished the 6K course in a time of 26:56, less than one minute behind the winner. Coming in behind Rado was sophomore Kathelene Kim (Pennsauken, NJ / Pennsauken) who recorded a time of 30:15 for 27th place.
The Nittany Lions are back in action on Saturday, September 26th at the Philadelphia Metro Cross Country Meet in Fairmount Park at 12:15 p.m.
