WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES 8TH IN SCHOOL'S FIRST EVER INVITATIONAL
September 5, 2009 - Utica, NY - Junior Diana Rado (Philadelphia, PA / Northeast) (24:22.0) led the Penn State Abington women’s cross country team to an 8th place finish at the SUNY-IT Invitational on Saturday with a 14th-place individual performance. This is the team’s first invitiational in school history.
Rado finished 14th in a field that was comprised of 66 participants. Sophomore Kathelene Kim (Pennsauken, NJ / Pennsauken) placed 34th overall with a time of 27:23.25.
The women’s cross country team returns to competition on Saturday, September 12 at the SUNY Cobleskill Steven A. Warde Cross Country Invitational.
