Women's Cross Country finish 8th at NEAC Championships
October 31, 2009 - Utica, NY - In their inaugural year at Penn State Abington the women's cross country team finished an impressive 8th out of 10 teams in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Championships on October 31, 2009. The NEAC Championships was a tight meet where 21 points decided 4th and 8th places while 2 points decided between 7th and 8th place. The Nittany Lions finished 2 points behind Cazenovia College but were able to finish ahead of Penn State Berks and Wells College. Penn State Abington had two runners selected to the NEAC All-Conference team.
Junior Diana Rado (Philadelphia, PA / Northeast) was selected to the 2nd team all-conference after her 11th place finish at the NEAC Championships with a time of 23:35.7.
Junior Samantha Frick (Philadelphia, PA / Central) was selected to the 3rd team all-conference after her 16th place finish at the NEAC Championships with a time of 24:19.4
