The Lady Lions host Delaware Valley College in a non-conference match-up

Abington, PA – The Lady Lions played host to Delaware Valley College in a non-conference match-up, where PS Abington lost 0-3 (15-25, 17-25, 22-25). Despite the tough loss the Lady Lions played an extremely well fought match. The team was led by sophomore outside hitters Lauren Connell (Archbishop Wood / Horsham, PA) and Jessica Kane (John W. Hallahan / Philadelphia, PA) as they had 9 and 7 kills respectively. Defensively, they were paced by Kane and sophomore outside hitter Amanda Votta (Council Rock South / Holland, PA) as they each had 12 digs. Overall the team had a strong defensive game as they combined for 45 total digs.
