ABINGTON TAKES ON FIRST PSUAC OPPONENT IN PENN STATE BRANDYWINE

MEDIA, PA – The Women’s Volleyball team took on their first PSUAC opponent in Penn State Brandywine. Although the Lady Lions of Abington lost 0–3 (20-25, 15-25, 23-25) they still showed consistent play throughout the 3 matches. Sophomore Lauren Connell (Archbishop Wood / Philadelphia, PA) led the team with her impressive play combining for 5 kills, 4 aces and 9 digs. Sophomores Jessica Kane (John W. Hallahan / Philadelphia, PA) and Danielle Regan (St. Hubert’s / Philadelphia, PA) each had 4 kills and combined for 7 digs. While junior Megan Sawicki (St. Hubert’s / Philadelphia, PA) had 12 assists along with 5 digs.
