Kevin Larkin (Head Coach , Men's and Women's Volleyball)
Kevin Larkin enters his third season as head coach for the Women’s Volleyball team. In his first two years, Larkin compiled a 6-40 record and competes in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC).
During the 2010 season, Larkin’s team finished fourth in the south division of the NEAC. They earned their first win in two years on September 15, 2010 when they defeated Trinity University (DC), 3-2. Larkin coached three players that were selected to the NEAC All-Conference teams.
In 2009, the Penn State Abington women's volleyball team received a #10 seed for the NEAC Championships, with a 0-23 record. They lost to SUNY Cobleskill in a NEAC play-in game.
Prior to taking the head coaching position at Penn State Abington he served as the assistant coach for two years. .
Kevin is a graduate of Penn State Abington and was a member of the men's volleyball team from 1998-2001. His background includes previous stints at Penn State Abington as assistant coach for women's volleyball in 2001 and 2004 and assistant coach for men's volleyball in 2005 and 2007. From 2005-2006, Kevin was the head coach for women's volleyball at Penn State Harrisburg. Kevin is also a head coach for the High Line Volleyball Club, a USA Volleyball junior club based in Abington, PA. Kevin currently holds a Level I accreditation from USA Volleyball's Coaching Accreditation Program.
Kevin graduated from Penn State Harrisburg in May of 2008 with a master's degree in American Studies and currently resides in Levittown, PA.
