Penn State Abington Women’s Volleyball teams up with Dig Pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness
Abington, PA – The Penn State Abington women’s volleyball team is having a “Dig Pink” event on Thursday, October 29, 2009 in an effort to raise money and awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
The event takes place during the Nittany Lions final home game of the season as they go up against Rowan University at 7:00 p.m.
Monetary donations as well as the sale of t-shirts will go toward the Nittany Lions fundraising goal of $500.00. Fans attending the event are encouraged to wear pink to show their support in the fight against breast cancer.

“Dig Pink” is an extension of the Side-Out Foundation, a Washington DC – based group formed to raise funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer through volleyball activities.
