Women's tennis lose to Eastern University
Sept. 22, 2009 – St. David’s, PA –Women's tennis played a tough match at Eastern University, where they lost 0-9, falling to 0-4 on the season.
Eastern University won 5 of the 6 singles matches in 2 sets but in #6 singles, sophomore Rebekah Dubin's (Merion, PA / Lower Merion) match went 3 sets where she lost 3-6, 7-6, 6-8.
In doubles play Eastern won all three but in #2 doubles play, the duo of senior Michelle Czarny (Philadelphia, PA / Archbishop Ryan) and senior Katelyn King (Southampton, PA / Archbishop Wood) lost by only 3 sets, 5-8.
The women's tennis tean is back in action on Saturday, September 26 when they host Albright College. The match is scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m.
