Women's Basketball loses last game of Season

February 20, 2011- Abington, PA- The women’s basketball team took the court for the final time today, as they hosted the College of St. Elizabeth in a NEAC game at the Athletics Center in Abington, PA. Penn State dropped a 53-62 decision and finished the season at 7-18 overall and 6-16 in conference while St. Elizabeth finished 11-14 overall and 11-11 in the NEAC.....read more.

 

AthleticsWomen’s Basketball loses in overtime to Wilson College

February 19, 2011 – Abington, PA - The Penn State Abington women’s basketball team traveled to Nelson Gymnasium in Chambersburg, PA to play Wilson College in a NEAC contest.  The Nittany Lions lost in overtime 59-73 in their last road game of the season. The teams spilt the season series with each team winning on their home court. With the loss, Penn State Abington dropped to 7-17 overall and 6-15 in the NEAC while Wilson improved to 5-19 overall and 4-18 in conference play.....read more.

 

Women’s Basketball defeats Gallaudet on Senior NightAthletics

February 17, 2011 – Abington, PA – The Penn State Abington women’s basketball team hosted Gallaudet University in a NEAC Conference game tonight at the Athletics Center in Abington, PA.  The Nittany Lions pulled out a 55-51 win as they honored senior Samantha Frick (Philadelphia, PA / Central) at halftime and improved to 7-16 overall and 6-14 in the NEAC while the Bison dropped to 21-2 overall and 18-2 in conference play. Gallaudet was ranked as high as 18 in the USA Today ESPN Division III Top 25 Coaches' Poll.....read more.

February 13, 2011- Keuka Park, NY- The Penn State Abington women’s basketball team visited Keuka Park, NY this afternoon to play Keuka College in a NEAC game at the Weed Physical Arts Center. The Nittany Lions were defeated 43-59 and fell to 6-16 overall and 5-14 in the NEAC while Keuka improved to 21-1 overall and 19-1 in conference play..... read more.

February 12, 2011 – Aurora, NY – The Penn State Abington women’s basketball team traveled to Aurora, NY for a NEAC conference game against Wells College.  The Nittany Lions won by two points, 59-57 as they improved to 6-15 overall and 5-13 in the NEAC while the Express dropped to 3-19 overall and 3-17 in conference play. February 9, 2011- Middletown, PA-The Penn State Abington women’s basketball team traveled to Middletown, PA for a tough NEAC conference game against Penn State Harrisburg at the Capital Union Building.
