Mens soccer stay atop the NEAC
Oct. 25, 2009 - Abington, PA - The men's soccer team defeated NEAC opponent SUNY Cobleskill today at Huntingdon Road Fields 3-2. They extended their winning streak to 9 games and remain atop the NEAC with an 11-3 record while SUNY Cobleskill fall to 5-10.
The Nittany Lions received all three goals from sophomore Elsion Pajollari (Korce, Albania / Northeast). Pajollari's first goal came in the 34th minute as he crossed over a defender and then scored putting Penn State Abington on the scorebard first. Pajollari scored in the 48th minute off of a penalty kick and then he scored the game winning goal in the 79th minute.
In the net for Penn State Abington was freshman Justin Garner (Warrington, PA / Central Bucks South) who had 4 saves on the day.
