Men’s Soccer win 3rd straight game
Oct. 3, 2009 – Cazenovia, NY – Penn State Abington men’s soccer team traveled to Cazenovia, NY for a tough NEAC game against Cazenovia College where they won 3-2 in overtime.
Cazenovia College was the first to get on the scoreboard in the 33rd minute then Penn State Abington responded with a goal by sophomore Elsion Pajollari (Korce, Albania / Northeast)about ten minutes later (22:41) assisted by freshman Justin Garner (Warrington, PA / Central Bucks South).
In the 30th minute of the 2nd half freshman Alix Edwards (Kingston, Jamaica / Bensalem) scored, assisted by Pajollari giving the Nittany Lions the lead. Cazenovia College tied the game forcing overtime in the 80th minute. Pajollari scored the game winning unassisted goal in the 97th minute.
Penn State Abington improves to 5-3 on the season and Cazenovia falls to 5-5.
The men’s soccer team is back in action on Saturday, October 10th when they host Berkeley College. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
