The Nittany Lions beat Wells College
Sept. 26, 2009 – Aurora, NY – The Nittany Lions shut-out Wells College 3-0 as they go 2-0 in the NEAC.
Penn State Abington out shot Wells College 17-8, resulting in three goals. Sophomore Matthew Howard (Rockledge, PA / Abington Senior) put Penn State Abington on the board in the 24th minute with a goal that was assisted by freshman Justin Garner (Warrington, PA / Central Bucks South).
Sophomore Elsion Pajollari (Korce, Albania / Northeast) had an unassited goal in the 37th minute and his second goal of the game in the 47th minute off a rebound.
Penn State Abington will be back in action on Monday, September 28th when they travel to Langhorne, PA to take on Philadelphia Biblical University in a non-conference match-up. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
