Men’s soccer lose to Penn College
Sept. 8, 2009 – Williamsport, PA – The Penn State Abington men’s soccer team traveled to Williamsport, PA to take on an old PSUAC rival in Penn College, where they lost 0-3.
The game remained scoreless until 16:52 into the 2nd half of the game when Penn College was able to get on the scoreboard. However, Penn State Abington did play a very well rounded game. "We should of had them. We played real good ball the first 70 minutes of the game and then we started to make mistakes allowing Penn College to score," David Castellanos stated. "We still have some things to work out but every game we have played we have improved."
Penn State Abington was lead by sophomore Sebastian Hernandez (Bogota, Columbia / George Washington) who had 3 shots for the game and in the net was freshman Daniel Carmack (California, MD / Leonardtown).
The Nittany Lions will host Morrisville State College on Saturday, September 12th at Huntingdon Road Fields. Kick-off is at 3:00 p.m.
