Elsion Pajollari selected ECAC Offensive Player of the Week
Oct. 27, 2009 - Cape Cod, Mass - The Eastern College Athletics Conference (ECAC) has named sophomore Elsion Pajollari (Korce, Albania / Northeast High School) as the ECAC men's soccer offensive player of the week of the south for the week ending October 25, 2009.
Pajollari had three strong offensive performances, all against conference opponents this past week. Pajollari started the week by scoring two goals, including the gamewinner in a 4-0 win over Penn State University-Harrisburg. He followed up that performance with two late goals against Morrisville State in a 4-3 come-from-behind victory. The sophomore finished the week with his best game, three goals to lead his Penn State University-Abington Nittany Lions over SUNY Cobleskill in a 3-2 win
The Penn State Abington men's soccer team are currently atop the NEAC with an 11-3 record, are undeafeted against NEAC opponents and have won 9 straight games.
The final game of the regular season is on Saturday, October 31st when they play NEAC opponent Keuka College at Huntingdon Road Fields at 3:00 p.m.
