Men's Lacrosse have five selected to NEAC All-Conference

April 29, 2011 – Gansevoort, NY – The North Eastern Athletic Conference announced the regular season all-conference selections in men’s lacrosse. 

Freshman defender Ryan Andress (Doylestown, PA / Central Bucks East) was selected to the second team All-Conference. Andress started in 11 of the 15 games he played. He had 23 shots, 49 groundballs and caused 16 turnovers.

Sophomore Ryan Mawhinney (Langhorne, PA / Neshaminy) was selected to the third team All-Conference as a long stick midfielder. Mawhinney started in 13 of the 15 games that he played. He had 3 goals, 2 assist and had 22 shots. He led his team in groundballs with 107 and caused a team high 28 turnovers.

Joining Mawhinney on the third team All-Conference was sophomore Pat Gillespie (Philadelphia, PA / Father Judge) for his play at midfield. Gillespie started 12 of the 15 games he played where he had 4 goals, 4 assists and had 51 shots. Pat also had 59 groundballs and won 99 faceoffs.

Freshman Kyle Andress (Doylestown, PA / Central Bucks East) was also selected to the third team All-Conference as a midfielder. Andress started in 12 of the 15 games he played where he had 7 goals, 2 assits and had 41 shots. he also had 50 groundballs and caused 14 turnovers.

Junior John Yeager (Philadelphia, PA / Archbishop Ryan) was the final Nittany Lion to be selected the third team All-Conference. Yeager was selected for his play as a defenseman where he started 10 of the 12 games he played.
