NEAC Playoffs are set for Baseball
April 25, 2011 – Abington, PA – The final seedings came out today for the start of the NEAC West Division Baseball Championship Tournament. Penn State Abington tied for first with SUNY-IT as each school recorded a 12-2 conference record. However, the Nittany Lions received a #2 seed for the tournament when they lost the tie-breaker.
The Nittany Lions will open up the tournament against #3 seeded Gallaudet University on Saturday, April 30th at 8:30 a.m. at Volunteer Field. The Nittany Lions lead the series 2-0. Penn State Abington defeated Gallaudet on April 15, 2011 in a doubleheader in Washington, DC (7-5 & 16-8).
