Sunday at Meadowbrook Farm: Easy Outdoor Color Combinations
Calling all gardeners—Diana K. Weiner will show you countless color combinations of plants that just work! She will include plants for potting and plants for the ground. The basics are the same but you’ll see how new introductions and old favorites take on a new spin when looking specifically at their colors and textures. Free admission.

“The Life and Work of Norman Rockwell and The Saturday Evening Post” Lecture and Slideshow
Dr. Don, co-founder of the Curtis Center Museum of Norman Rockwell Art, and Phyllis Stoltz
Norman Rockwell is a name that evokes warm thoughts of childhood joys, teenage fun, holidays, sports, patriotism, and “The American Way of Life.” Dr. Don and Phyllis Stoltz, who have presented nation-wide, will discuss Rockwell’s art, life, and family. You’ll even hear the Stoltz’s personal stories from their many meetings with the famed artist. This not-to-be-missed lecture, stimulating slide show, and dynamic musical finale is sure to evoke fond memories, laughs, and perhaps a happy tear or two. Bring your friends and family. An Evening Under the Stars with the Eric Mintel Jazz Quartet
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets for a delightful evening of exciting and melodic jazz from the Eric Mintel Jazz Quartet. This family-friendly concert will include the music of Dave Brubeck, classic jazz standards, and new music from the quartet's latest CD. Eric Mintel became a Yamaha Artist in October of 2007.
