PAWS the TEXTING

A Place to Talk's annual Paws the Texting event aims to raise awareness about texting while driving and the dangers of it. This year's speaker will be Shelley Forney will be telling her experience about losing her child to someone who was texting and driving. Paws the Texting will also have driving simultors, handouts, and a pledge for those who are interested and who wants to make a commitment to stop texting and driving.

THON Pie in the Face

At Pie in the Face, we put the FUN in FUNdraising! We set up whipped cream pies and boards and people will put their faces in the holes in the boards and get PIED! It's $1 to throw a pie and $5 to walk-up and pie someone in the face. 100% of the money raised will go to the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Medical Center which helps children fight cancer!

 

The event will take place at the Lares Lawn (next to Sutherland Circle).
