The purpose of this event is to begin the breakdown/seperation between Islam, culture, and stereotype. This event will be run by only students. Videos will be shown showing students on campus, and people off campus, and their understanding of Islam. We will then answer common questions and present common misconceptions.
Penn State Archivist Doris Malkmus will be traveling to Penn State campuses this fall to present “Queering Penn State History.” Using a game setting and primary sources from The Eberly Family Special Collections Library, she will help attendees discover the history of Penn State’s first gay student organization, circa 1968–1974.

We will be having a guest speaker by the name Imam Amin Muhammad, a prominent Islamic scholar, and the custodian of the Masjid Muhammad in Atlantic City, New Jersey. As usual, we cordially invite everyone to this event, and we wish to use this platform to unite and educate our school and beyond, about the importance of Eid and its impact on the Muslims and non-Muslims as well.
