My current research involves the effects of the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin on breast cancer cells. I investigate the changes in gene expression and protein production in these cells after exposure to the hormone. I am also beginning a new collaboration in which I will investigate the expression of stress-response genes and proteins in these cells as a result of the stress of hormone exposure.
